UPCOMING NOVEMBER 2021: PADEL TOURNAMENT IN MALL OF EGYPT ✽
Mall of Egypt along with their Padel partner GO!PADEL announced the commencement of the Padel tournament in the Padel courts present in the mall’s plaza parking. The event is huge for Padel manias as it will be held in the 1st ever shaded Padel courts in Egypt.

To sum up the game Padel is a sport that could be a considered as a crossover between Squash, Tennis, and racket ball (basically balls, rackets, and extra fun all in one). It involves a wall (or a glass box), rackets, and a court which is only one-third the size of a tennis courts. This sport can be enjoyed both indoors and outdoors. In a Padel game two teams compete against each other with two team members each. The ball can bounce off the walls of the court during the game. This is a fun sport that is also very competitive and exciting to watch and play for a sense of social interaction (AKA make some friends and stop being a loner).
ARE YOU SAYING ANYONE CAN PLAY PADEL?
YES! As it is very easy to understand the rules of the game, Adults, youngsters, elderly both men, and women enjoy playing and watching it. Padel is enjoyed both in Egypt on a national level but also around the world internationally, with over 20 million players in the world and an average of 350 thousand players joining each year. To accommodate the players there are around 15 thousand courts worldwide and almost 300 new clubs opening each year (have we mentioned how COOL this game is?).

This Entertaining tournament will take place in Mall of Egypt, which is the first shopping destination in Egypt. It is located on Al Wahat road 6th of October city. It has direct access to Wahat road, and all sorts of family entertainment services such as Ski Egypt, VOX Cinema and Magic planet family entertainment centre. Everything you need at arm’s length.
Mall of Egypt now has Padel courts that are the first in Egypt to be shaded located in the mall plaza parking. There are two Padel courts that are fully equipped, not to mention a Padel Academy as well. This Padel arena was created in partnership between Mall of Egypt as well as Go!Padel Egypt to ensure maintaining the physical health and wellbeing of the shopping mall customers.
BUT WHO STARTED THE PADEL CRAZE HERE IN EGYPT THOUGH?
Go!Padel is one of the pioneers when it comes to Padel culture in Egypt, they were the 1st to build Padel courts in Egypt back in 2014, they are the only ones that have built Padel courts in governmental clubs. Go Padel is also the first to host an international Padel event along with the number 1 player and 3 other top 10 players in 2018. It is needless to say that they are pioneers in the Padel sport when it comes to putting Egypt on the Padel world map with countless other achievements.
