About Project
Meetlyr needed a site that could explain something people had not seen before: real meetups, without the pressure of a dating app or the transactional feel of a networking event. The job was to make that legible in the first screen, then let an interested visitor sign up without reading a manifesto first. We designed and built it around the mechanics rather than the pitch: how onboarding works, how the matching picks people, what actually happens at a meetup. Interest-based matching, venue suggestions and small groups are shown rather than described, because the reassurance somebody needs before meeting strangers is knowing in advance how the evening is going to go. The result is a site that carries the product's tone and answers the safety question before a visitor has to ask it, in the markets Meetlyr runs in now and the cities it is opening next.
