The Qatar Society of Engineers will hold the first Qatar International Conference and Exhibition for Sports Engineering from March 27 to 29 at Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC Hall No. 1) under the patronage of Minister of Sports and Youth HE Salah bin Ghanem Al Ali.
The event, the first of its kind in Qatar and the region, will feature discussion panels and specialised exhibition during the three days.
The Qatar Society of Engineers will organise the event in cooperation with Expo Tale, the implementing partner, with the support of the strategic partners – the Ministry of Sport and Youth, Qatar Olympic Committee, Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, and Aspire Zone Foundation.
The conference panels will focus on six main sectors related to sports engineering, namely: Design and implementation of sports facilities and buildings; Engineering & sports equipment and tools; Engineering in the development of athletic skills and performance; Technology and Artificial intelligence in sport engineering; Parasport and Paralympics; and Sports and Mega Events management and Legacies
The conference will host more than 15 discussion panels to present research and topics over the three days, with the participation of a number of speakers, experts and academics at a highest level, from different national and international academic and engineering associations.
Over 30 exhibitors from various sports and engineering sectors in Qatar have confirmed their participation.
The strategic partners and sponsors include the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) and Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa).
